She’s sitting in her chair with a gorgeous woman dusting her face in gold, another stunning woman turns her jet black hair into a work of art, and in bounces yet another shining woman with arm fulls of clothes in her hands. “Heather, you have GOT to where THIS.” The this being referenced is a stunning black leather dress by Tom Ford. The room is buzzing as everyone squeals and giggles. She leaves, only to return again with yet another dazzling garment.

It’s quiet this morning, the kind of quiet that only happens when most humans are sleeping, and all you can hear is stillness. Heather strolls peacefully into her sparkling studio of jewels to begin a day of making magic for you and me. A few candles are lit as she sits on her meditation seat, a seat well-worn from time after time of sitting down to connect with the Divine.

Today is my first Mother’s Day without my mother. I have found a way to honor my Mother and it is called LOVEthirteen. So, today, on Mother’s Day and in honor of my mom we launch our webpage! I promised my mom that I would show my children how to live life to the fullest, how to celebrate life even in its most challenging of times. I have honored my spiritual calling and I have found a way to be of service, to be a true conduit of love. I have found a way to heal and to connect with others, for we all have a story and a need to heal. My wish for LOVEthirteen as we step into this next chapter is that we continue to serve, to connect to grow gracefully and with ease. I love you mom.
